COMMUNITY SERVICE

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world.  Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

 - Margaret Mead

CAC seeks to instill the value of servitude in its student athletes by coordinating with local charitable organizations in order to give each student athlete multiple opportunities to give back to their community. A major part of scholarship applications is providing a record of volunteer contributions. According to university advisors, volunteer contributions are one of the most overlooked requirements by students yet most important piece to setting a prospective scholarship recipient apart from the masses.

Volunteerism is a trait that can show others that, not only is a player responsible and dependable, while just like their peers they might have busy schedules, those volunteers are going above and beyond what is required of them and still meeting their obligations as students and athletes. CAC is hopeful that by providing these coordination services, it will make the process of securing volunteer hours eaiser and more enjoyable for the students athletes.

This volunteerism may ultimately lead the student athlete to be successful in securing scholarships for notable 4-year universities; an achievement that might seem financially difficult to attain, yet not impossible with CAC’s assistance.
